The first day of Wii Sports Championship organised by Jurong Point and Courts, held at, of course Jurong Point, kicked off today at about 5.30pm.
I was there to check out the event and I actually took part in the games. And dont be deceived by the Event title, it has nothing to do with the game Wii Sports. The 2 games that were played today were 2 mini games straight out from Mario Party 8 - The Hovercraft game and The Picture Matching game.

The whole event went pretty well, and It started from 64 players and all the way cut down to 16 semi-finalists. The 2nd day will kick off tomorrow, 1st June, at the same location, 2-5pm. I tried to ask which game will be played tomorrow, but the organizer would want to keep it a secret.

Just to mention again, the prize is $1000 Jurong Point voucher, 2nd and 3rd being $500 and $300 Courts voucher, not bad at all!
