Download World of Goo today! It is officially the best Wiiware game in GameFrontz, since hardcore-inclined kolslorr and casual-inclined clouette had both downloaded the game on Tuesday. To be honest, the game is the best strategic puzzler I have played since Digger. World of Goo is very unique, yet very simple. Use physics and connect the dots to reach the objective, that’s it.
EA distribute its own games in Singapore, so Maxsoft never showcase EA games. There were some hidden crap at EA booth, including MySIMs Kingdom, Monopoly, Celebrity Showdown and Facebreaker. If you wonder why EA has been losing money recently, you can understand just by looking at the games.
I managed to come face to face with Facebreaker, a boxing game to break the face of your opponents. In the video you can see how a lady was trying to work out with Facebreaker. Her husband was beside her, maybe she wanted to vent out on the virtual opponent.
I decide to show Wii Fit some love as it is a staple Wii game right now, every show has it. Wait till Wii Music come out, Fit & Sports will start scrambling for visual space. Talk about Wii Music later.
One of the unlocked and most popular balance game in Fit is the Soccer Balance game. The aim is to head the balls while avoiding soccer boots & Panda heads (Miyamoto hate Pandas?). You are given about 160 balls to head, and combos lead to higher progressive scores: +1, +2, +3, etc.
From day 2 I can see that it is not that there are no audiences, it’s because they are too shy to try the game demos. This gave the Nintendo girls lots of chance to practice (I wished I could get their jobs) till perfection. The girl in the video got 150+ points. My goodness, I haven’t even achieve 100 before.
Better grab your Wii Balance Board fast, for you need it for Rayman TV.
The stupidest game of all, Rabbids dancing! One must have ultra duper courage to play it in public. I do I do. I was the first to try out this game and it does feel really stupid. If Rabbids can’t make you laugh, at least they make you drop your ego.
This is the new WWR – World Wrestling Rabbidation. (I dunno what WWR stands for, it came up with the name.) Watch out for Hulk Hogan doing a slam on our cute little Rabbids.
The objective of Rabbids Boxing is not to K.O. other Rabbids, but to stun them, shove them onto the centre of the ring and get slammed by the real wrestlers. Stupid right? That’s the kind of games Rayman Rabbids 3 aka TV Party has to keep up to its Raving standards. I must honestly admit that I am a Rabbid king, because I got 22000+ points for this the first time I played, breaking the Gold award by 10000 points.
The controls are like Rayman 2’s Rugby game. Use the analogue stick to run around, then hit other Rabbids by swinging wiimote. Totally easy! The difficulty comes in avoiding other Rabbids’ attacks and more importantly the slams from the pro-wrestlers.
I can’t wait for November for the game release to show how good am I.
This is the highest profile mini-game in TV Party, using your buttocks to surf in the ice. You better dun think it is easy, because the Nintendo girl beat me to it again. Here’s my rationale:
Although I played Rayman first and I’m a Marioboy, I actually look forward to Dokapon Kingdom the most. I was very surprised that the full version appeared at GCA today. The reason for my love (though people said love has no reason), is I love Mario Party 8 so much that I am going to gobble up every other cutesy board game on Wii, and since time without beginning (since 1992) I have played Sanguo Richman game. This game is almost like Richman game, except that there is a scissors-paper-stone element to the fighting component and more-strategy-less-luck is involved.
This is one of the games I see myself buying. That’s because I’m a Marioboy hehe… The result of being Nintendo-deprived from birth till 27 years old. And since it was so empty at GCA this afternoon, I got the chance to try 2 Warioland scenarios uninterrupted. If not for going back to work, I would have tried to complete the game.
Wii version of the game is the only one that appeared in GCA. I really wanted to try this game out as it is supposed to be a BIG game. The graphics look okay and the controls seem easy.
