Guitar Hero World Tour to be released earliest next week in Singapore

As of today, Activision has not released the game to Maxsoft yet, and Maxsoft estimates that the earliest they will receive the game is next week. I am sorry for the delay, there’s nothing much we can do now except wait for Activision to sort out its logistics issue.

Oh no, Sony, as if its not enough to lose SquareEnix’s primary support, now you even loses your all time exclusive Tekken to Microsoft. Jia lat lah you, I wanted to support you, but then it seems like now 360 is a more logical choice for HD gaming. Cuz what have you now apart from FPS? Little Big Planet?

Tokyo Game Show 9 – 12 Oct

Tokyo Game Show will take place on 9 – 12 Oct. 9 and 10 will be Business Days where the publishers and developers will take turn to announce and show off new and upcoming games. 11 and 12 will be Public Days where everyone will get the chance to hands on and talk with one another.
Nintendo won’t be there, since they just had their own conference last week. But 3rd party Nintendo games publisher would. So keep your eyes and browser open for exciting news coming up on tomorrow and Friday. Expect BIG Playstation news and games.

Dun buy Rock Band 1, buy Rock Band 2

Digital life featured Rock Band 1 on page 9 yesterday. Despite 360 version of Rock Band 2 already launched in US, EA Singapore officially launched Rock Band here today. That is after 10 long months after launching in Nov 07. Why would anyone buy RB1 if RB2 is already out. EA explained it will provide “the assurance of quality” over parallel imports. Duh, isn’t Rock Band parallel manufactured and published by the same source, EA? Worst off, the official version is more than $40 more expensive than parallel version.
EA Singapore has missed the point, it is not whether it is ‘quality’ or not, we are not doubting your quality. We are asking why you take so long to ship Rock Band over. And now that RB2 is just launched (14 Sep for 360) or going to be launched (18 Nov for Wii), can you explain why you still want people to buy RB1? Because it has high ‘quality’? Are you trying to say RB2 has no ‘quality’, or you are just trying to clear your RB1 stocks?
I am not trying to persuade you not to buy Rock Band. But if you want to buy, buy Rock Band 2. Period.
